Hi, everyone! Matt Ward with inConcert Web Solutions, bringing you another great tip.

The question I have for you today is, “Do you have a list of KEYWORDS that you want to show up for?” So many people I talk to don’t even have any idea what they want to show up for. You have got to start with that list.

So, let’s build that list, alright? Start with that piece of paper; build that list. Let’s go out & do research. Look at your competitors; what are they trying to show up for? Read their content on their website. Read their content on their blog. Let’s go out to wordtracker.com. You can get a free demo there or pay their small fee for a month, and that software will help you understand what people are searching for within your industry and help you rank better.

Also, if you go to Google and type in “keyword suggestion tool”, Google has their own tool that can help you with that. So, let’s get that piece of paper going. Let’s get that dialog of keywords going — it can be 2 or 3 words in a phrase; and from there let’s start to understand where you rank for that and you can grow from it.
